SWE Farm Hub is a climate-smart agriculture and rural resilience initiative designed to empower smallholder farmers, women, youth, and vulnerable rural communities in Sierra Leone. Many farming communities face interconnected challenges—climate change, unpredictable weather, low agricultural productivity, limited access to reliable farming information, poor market opportunities, unemployment, and weak access to digital services. SWE Farm Hub is designed to bring practical solutions together rather than addressing these challenges separately. Through a mobile-first digital platform and community-based Farm Hubs, farmers will be connected to climate-smart agricultural knowledge, weather and climate information, digital advisory services, market opportunities, livelihood support, and other resources that can help them make better decisions, improve productivity, increase income, and strengthen resilience. We are raising funds to move SWE Farm Hub from the idea-to-pilot stage toward implementation—supporting the development of the digital platform, establishing demonstration and community hubs, training farmers and young people, strengthening market linkages, and testing the model with rural communities.
